LEED for Homes Canada is a Green Building rating system that was established by the Canada Green Building Council. It is a third party certification that is unbiased and confirms a Homebuilder’s best building practices. This National program is mandated to promote the design and construction of high performance green homes. The rating system functions byestablishing strict guidelines for a certain level of performance that involves prerequisites and rewards the improved performances through a point system. There are four tiers of certification from the points earned : Certification, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Click on the logo above for more information on LEED for Homes Canada.
